Migrate from Instantly
From Instantly to BoomSauce.
Instantly grew on the size of their warmup pool. We grew on every other layer of the stack.
Why migrate
- · Per-seat / tier-locked pricing penalizes growing teams
- · Warmup pool is large but shared with every Instantly user — including spam-adjacent senders
- · Limited per-mailbox reputation visibility
- · No domain registration, no bundled DNS setup
What you keep
- Your domain inventory (BYOD free)
- Your sequence and copy library (text exports paste-import)
What changes
- Warmup network: Instantly's shared pool → CheddarInbox's tighter, vetted P2P network
- Reputation visibility: their dashboard surfaces less than ours
- Pricing model flips from per-seat tier to wallet metering
The migration plan.
- 01
Export and audit your domains
Pull the domain list from Instantly. Decide which to migrate first (low-volume / experimental ones are the safe trial).
- 02
Reauth those domains in BoomSauce
BYOD flow walks you through SPF/DKIM/DMARC at Cloudflare. Old SendGrid keys can be reused.
- 03
Re-warm
Reset warmup to day 1 for migrated mailboxes. Yes, it costs a few weeks of ramp — but it gets you on a fresh, vetted warmup network.
- 04
Migrate live campaigns
Pause Instantly sequences mid-flight, re-create on BoomSauce, resume. Reply detection re-engages on first inbound.
Caveats — read before you commit.
- Instantly's warmup pool is bigger than ours today. If pool size is your only metric, you might prefer to stay until our pool catches up.
